The patient, born in 1950, was admitted to the clinic with a diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, slowly progressing severe course, complicated by diabetic nephropathy. Comorbid pathology includes chronic cholecystitis in the acute stage, chronic pyelonephritis in remission.
Complaints upon admission: quick fatigue, thirst, frequent headaches, periodic increases in blood pressure up to 180/100, urinary incontinence, unpleasant odor in the urine, low back pain.
History: Family history is not burdened. The patient has been ill for 2 years and associates the onset of the disease with a previous acute viral infection. No specific anti-diabetic therapy was provided, the patient took high doses of vitamin C.
Objective data: General condition is relatively satisfactory, skin is pale with an earthy hue, spine is deformed, pronounced scoliosis LIII – LIV, kyphosis TIII – DV, spine is painful on palpation in the lumbar area, pronounced swelling of the lower limbs, face, and eyelids, expiratory shortness of breath, respiratory rate 16, pulse 98 bpm, blood pressure 150/100, tongue is coated with a yellow film. Abdomen is tender on palpation in the right and left hypochondria. The liver is palpable, tender, protruding 2-3 cm from the costal margin, of medium density, smooth surface, rounded edge. Pasternack’s sign is markedly positive on both sides. Urination is painful, frequent, polyuria, stool is constipated (once every 3-4 days).
Laboratory-instrumental studies: blood sugar 9.8 mmol/l, urine sugar 0.7%, eye fundus – angiopathy of retinal vessels, arterial narrowing, increased venous tortuosity.
EAF indicators: on the vascular system, nervous system, and pancreas meridians, all indicators are decreased (20-30).
Treatment: GI general according to the schedule once a day, daily for 3 weeks, GI + ZB locally on the liver, gallbladder, kidneys, spine, ovaries, uterus, perineum, intestines for 5 minutes once a day, daily for 3 weeks. RC+ZB locally on the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spine, ovaries, uterus, perineum, intestines, head for 2 minutes once a day, daily for 3 weeks, ZB general for 5 minutes once a day for 3 weeks, KL general for 10 minutes once a day for 3 weeks, locally on the heels for 15 minutes, pancreas 5x5 minutes twice a day before and after treatment, 1 minute on the occiput, 2 minutes on the thymus, 5 minutes on the intestines. Stool RC + KL for 10-15 minutes.
Therapy specifics: On the 4th day of therapy, the body temperature rose to 39°C and remained for 2 days. Hemodez solution 400 ml was used intravenously once during therapy.
Result: After 1 week of therapy, the overall condition improved, fatigue and thirst disappeared, blood pressure normalized, blood sugar was 8.4 mmol/l, urine sugar 0.5%. After 2 weeks, low back pain disappeared, urination normalized, skin regained its normal color, edema and shortness of breath disappeared, blood sugar decreased to 7.2 mmol/l. By the end of the 3rd week, all EAF parameters normalized, scoliosis decreased, blood sugar was 5.2 mmol/l, urine sugar absent, eye fundus – retinal vessel angiopathy, moderate venous dilatation, slight irregularity of their caliber.
