A 54-year-old woman came to the clinic with complaints of severe back pain, which prevented her from walking. She has been ill for many years, with the pain intensifying and becoming constant over the last 2 years. Objectively, the patient is overweight; palpation revealed tenderness paraspinally in the sacral area. X-rays showed displacement of the L5-S1 vertebrae.
The patient received treatment with IR emitters on the back area GI(s) for 10 minutes focused on the spine, particularly in the lumbar region, followed by spinal massage twice a day with simultaneous application of the ZB(s) emitter. As a result of the therapy, the patient can now walk for up to one hour without back pain.
